CASE Education Officer

Position vacant - part-time, temporary

In response to the growing demand and considerable changes in both healthcare and higher education, the Consortium for the Accreditation of Sonographic Education (CASE) is seeking an Education Officer to work alongside the current team to support and improve education and accreditation activity.  This role is a temporary position and can be offered as a secondment or on a contractual basis.


Funding of £18,000 plus expenses (up to £1,000) is available and the approach to the work can be flexible depending on the successful applicants’ circumstances but it is expected that approximately 86 days effort will be required across a period of one to two years.


Location can be anywhere in the UK, limited travel will be necessary.


Person Requirements

A full role description and person specification is available on request but in summary we are seeking someone with recognised expertise and leadership in medical ultrasound education and recognised expertise and leadership in professional practice who holds a postgraduate qualification in medical ultrasound.


Role Responsibilities

Key tasks will include reviewing the current accredited programmes and implementing changes that will be beneficial to reducing the demand on accreditors and improving the accreditation process for all stakeholders

 

You will be expected to work with the Member Organisation representatives, the Committee Chair and members, the CASE Co-ordinator and other sub-groups as required.

 

You will be expected to advise on and contribute effectively to the development and implementation of CASE policy and strategy.

You may occasionally be required to represent CASE at external meetings and events
